Alvinisms 1172

"Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars... Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that."

-Martin Luther King Jr. (1929 - 1968)

Did you know: When camels walk they move both legs on one side of their body and then the other.

Thought of the day: Tomorrow I turn 28. Where has the time gone? I wonder what my life would look like as a blog? Kinda like this I guess but w/ a lot more empty space and me staring at things. Oh well, time to get ready to judge a competition in Long Beach and then the Chargers Vs Chiefs game!

Food for thought:

Pumpkin cheesecake w/ nutella chocolate ganache.

For the first time I actually notice fall leaves in San Diego.

This tree looks like the burning tree from The Ring.

I took a similar picture like this in Nara, Japan. I think it's one of my splash page photos.

Allan and Andrea making their way up the mountain.

Soon followed by Angela and Bryan.

We had a whole crew come out today! Drea, Fets, Al, Al, Bry, and Ang.

Did you guys just walk by the Flintstones house?

Similar right?

Werewolf Jaco.....I mean Allan.

Butt crack rock.

A little line I found interesting.

Derek Zoolande.....I mean Bryan London, male model.

Another interesting rock formation. To me at least.

This one I properly name, Tetris Rock.

Does anyone else see a giant stone sea lion looking over his shoulder?

A giant rock w/ a lid.

An older and wrinklier butt crack.

Fets is the king...errrr...queen of the world!

We see you guys down there!

FYI, Laurel catches baseballs w/ her feet together as well as stand on rock cliffs.

Damn these short legs!

Mean scowl? Not really.

Bryan and Allan tried taking a more direct route via the bushes and trees.

And rock.

Almost there, but we can always stop and take it in.

Or pretend you're riding a giant stone horsey. Yes, I said horsey.

We couldn't figure out what lake this was. Any ideas?

The rock on the right puzzled us cuz it's cut nicely into fourths. Reminded me of the game, Simon.

See the resemblance?

0.2 miles left. We made it.

I like this photo. I'm seeing facebook profile photo in the near future? Tag me, thanks.

Its kinda scary w/ just one person on it, even moreso w/ 6.

Group of friends and photos. Someone's bound to do the laid out model pose.

This is the "Okay it might break, get me off this rock" photo.

Ooooo yeah!!!

Boys will be boys.

Hahahaha! We should draw this picture out and make an album cover w/ it.

Bryan's "kicking rocks".

Did Al paint his feet? Nah, those are his Vibram shoes.

My sweaty back transferred to my pack. Totally forgot about it when I put it down. Dammit!

Best flautas in San Diego = Any El Ranchito.

Big, fluffy, delicious. Forget healthy for 20 minutes of bliss. Ahhhh.....
