Alvinisms 1151

"The best way to get approval is not to need it."

-Hugh Mcleod

Did you know: There are over 40,000 different species of land snails.

Thought of the day: The best 3.5 month stretch is here. But it also is the most expensive.

Food for thought:

Open faced steak and egg sandwich w/ brie cheese, sauteed greens, & caramelized onion-tomato jam. Sounds really good except not sure about the jam part.

Time to power up w/ my favorite Indian dish at Delhi Kitchen, the saag paneer.

It was a tough week, I deserved a beer named YETI.

Wakey wakey time to walk in the morning mist.

The beginning of this trail is cool, it feels like you're walking in Alice in Wonderland or an orchard.

Not very hard but the name is fun. IRON!

It's an interesting trail where some spots are wide open like this and some are lightly climbing on rocks.

I think Feta and I renamed this elephant looking rock "Horton's Hill" or something.

It was lightly drizzling the whole time so it made it easy and cool. And a bit muddy. NO SAUSAGE FINGERS!

What's cool is they have this book that people can sign and leave their mark.

Here's ours. We got a new challenge for the next time. Excited!
