"The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity."

-Dorothy Parker (1893 - 1967)

Did you know: The pupil of an octopus' eye is rectangular.

Thought of the day: Its funny how easy my day, weekend, week, etc can be made. This weekend was gonna be radical because I was gonna go camping w/ Team Millennia. Well, it turns out my parents needed my help moving and fixing 2 of the houses we own; there goes my plans.

Okay, so weekend is shot and I still have Monday requested off because I thought I'd need a day to recover from a weekend of chillin and going nuts. Well, how bout Sunday night I go to Fullerton for Chris' surprise birthday gig w/ a few Fullerton/TM Alumnis, chill over dinner and drinks, sleep at Chach's and hang out w/ more friends. Well, last minute I get asked to move even more stuff so...Weekend is really really killed now.

Well, Sunday night rolls in and I'm stuck at home having done nothing besides watch the World Cup and work on houses. Big whoop. Well, Allan hits me up and we roll around on his new motorcycle. Then he asked if I wanted to drive it. Do?.....HELL YEAH! Now I've never rode motorcycle like this before but I do know how to drive a stick car so I was bit nervous and anxious at the same time. Well, it's pretty easy! Now it got me thinking if I should really look into one. Saved my weekend w/ just a little bit of motorcycle fun.

Monday rolls in too and another semi uneventful day till I get a text from Feta aka Laurel. We haven't seen each other in a while so we plan on dinner this week. Shoot, why not tonight? She's down, I'm in, lets call friends and make it happen.

Sometimes it just takes one friend, one instance, one act that can make everything so much better.

While wandering the streets of Rapid City, yup Rapid City, I came up "Art Alley."

Who knew something so rad was in South Dakota?

It almost ghetto and its almost Hollywood staged.

Fart knocker? Who still says that?

Often the coolest parts of a trip come unplanned.

I'm still thinking...South Dakota!?!

Prolly one of my favorite pieces.

The rain fell all day after Mt. Rushmore but let up for me to wander.

Alongside the tagging.....

There were also regular pieces of canvas posted up along the bricks.

I figured I'd end my night and days w/ a fresh brew at South Dakota's own Firehouse Brewing Co.

I had their Firehouse Ale and some buffalo nuggets. Along w/ some good conversation w/ the three musicians next to me it seemed like a nice way to end my long day.

Oh and live reggae music outdoors too. It was nice evening.

Oh and I did get my 4th of July fireworks. *Next to 7 hot Russians. And 7 big dudes.....whomp, whomp, whomp.

After they were done, I headed to clean up and find a spot to sleep in my car again but.....

Oh, and it's not the end of my adventures either.
