Alvinisms 1164

Life isn't fair, but it's still good."

-Regina Brett

Did you know: Back then, many Disney animators were wary of computer animation and feared that it would replace them, so they refused to work on Tron.

Thought of the day: 3 day workweek! Monday - get off early and go to Charger game. Tuesday - field trip to the Birch Aquarium w/ class. Wednesday - potluck w/ class and coworkers and last day of work. This is gonna be an easy week!!!

Food for thought:

Cheesy spinach and artichoke dip stuffed potato skins.

First time at the highest peak in San Diego.

Allan joined me on the trek. It was hella packed.

He wanted to try his new boots for Nepal so we walked off trail as often as we could.

"I am...Champ" pose.

It's not as hard as we thought so we're planning on running it next time.

No I did not take this panoramic photo from Cowles but I thought it was the best way to depict the view.

We hit up a new Indian spot off Miramar.

I got the tandoori wrap. I've never had Indian food in a burrito style but I must say it was dank!

Allan got the Delhi chaat. It's like a a hearty breakfast cereal but better!

Later that night we went to back to Miramar to eat at Punjabi Tanoor. What can we say? We love Indian food.

Paneer Pakora ($4.95) Mildly spiced fritters of homemade cheese.

Onion Bhaji ($3.95) Freshly diced onion mixed with flour and deep fried.
1) Shrimp Vindalu - Shrimp cooked in hot spices, tomatoes and potatoes.
2) Chicken Makhani - Chicken tandoored in clay oven & cooked in butter, yogurt & tomato gravy.
3) Garlic Nan - Nan sprinkled with garlic.
