"Grief shared is half grief; Joy shared is double joy."

-Honduran Proverb

Did you know: People "clink" before toasting because it used to be common for someone to try to kill an enemy by offering him a poisoned drink. To prove to a guest that a drink was safe, it became customary for a guest to pour a small amount of his drink into the glass of the host. Both men would drink it simultaneously. When a guest trusted his host, he would then just touch or clink the host's glass with his own.

Thought of the day: Dammit, Black Friday is so close but I wanna buy an Xbox 360 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 right now! But...if I do buy it then you will not see me outside my bedroom for a couple weeks and maybe months.

Food for thought:

Josephine's sous vide filet mignon, creamed corn, robert sauce. Another amazing looking dish that I don't know half the words.

Rhoda and Kimtan came straight from Vegas to meet up for the game. Crazy kids.

9 am bright and early for tailgating goodness.

The problem w/ tailgating was missing out on the early games. Direct TV fixed that.

Breakfast burritos anyone?

This was just the first batch of meat.

Unlimited carne asada burritos are dangerous.

Spam ceviche! What!?!

Cookin up my favorite cheese filled thick bacon wrapped brats.

Away games Hooters crew. Minus Ollie.

Mike and Mike are like big mamas of tailgating. They cook and take care of us. Hahahaha!

Bacon wrapped brat w/ all the burrito fixins.

Big Steve. Miss you man!

This guy picked the right place to find signatures.

Well, well, well, looked who showed up. Mr. Andrew Sprigle of Willys Workshop.

Who doesn't love meat wrapped in meat.

Shotgun from Alvin Benavidez on Vimeo.

Sprig and I shotgunning beers.

And another one.

Charger kids pumping up for the game.

This gives me...THE CALL OF DUTY! Maybe it's a sign.

No jet fly by but the helis were pretty sick too.

This was a blowout, then it got too close for my blood.

I don't think I ever went to game when it was Jack Murphy Stadium.

A little off on the panoramic shot but oh well.

Thanks for the ticket Tanners. And Kimtan's coworker who couldn't make it.

Thanks for all your money Eagles fan!
