Alvinisms 769

"He who makes no mistakes makes nothing."

-I got it from Rurouni Kenshin

Did you know: Porphyrophobia is the fear of the color purple.

Thought of the day: Its kinda random. I was gonna call Vince to surf but chose to take a shit. While I shit, I hear my phone. I'm done and it's Vince who called. I call him back, tell him my story why I didn't pick up. Guess what he's doing. You guessed it. (If you didn't...he's taking a shit.)

Food for thought:

I don't know why, but I've been craving yogurt.

-Alvinism of the Wildboyz

This is where we went on our field trip.

This dude was legit!!! This fossil head replica of a triceratops (tri=3 cera=horned tops=face) costs about $12,000!

I learned so much!

There is no such thing as saber toothed tigers. They are saber toothed cats. Tigers never had saber teeth.

At this museum you actually get to touch like 90% of the stuff!!! Where do you get to do that?

Real dinosaur eggs that just came in yesterday. I like how they came in wooden boxes like you see in the movies!

This is just a portion of his collection. I'm telling you, it was one of the coolest musuems I've been too.

He knew his shit yo! Check out that ammonite behind him. Huge!

Here it is up close. Look at it compared to the pieces of paper next to it.

This is what an ammonite would've looked like back then. They were huge and still ugly. They do still exist today. They are extant.

This was a whole jar of shark teeth!

And a whole jar of ammonites!

Now can you imagine how many there were!?!

Some formed funny shapes. This is either pretty cool and interesting like it was to me. Or the most boring Alvinism ever. I don't care. I like it.

At the end of the day the kids got to take fossils and rock samples from fossiled poop to snowflake obsidian. They were stoked and we were stoked. DON'T LET OUR EDUCATION FAIL FOLKS!
