Alvinisms 1305

"In the end, we decide if we're remembered for what happened to us or for what we did."

-Randy K. Milholland

Thought of the day: I had the toughest week of my 5 years of teaching last week. It was tough on me, tough on the kids, tough on the administration, and tough on my assistants. Not gonna get into details but even my optimism was tested and I found myself lacking charisma and having dead eyes at times. I'm not even going to cross my fingers for a better week because it's not luck that will make things better. It's going to be time and effort on this one.

Food for thought:
Brown butter seared scallps, golden chanerelles, bacon, maple, vanilla bourbon and kabocha puree.

This is my sister, Lexie. She moved to LA and came to visit. She's awesome.

I play COD w/ Leo online at least 2-3 times a week. When he's down from Fairfield he can't help but get a little gaming in. He's also one of the few people that can eat like me and then go run Miramar the next day.
