"Be so good they can't ignore you."

-Steve Martin

Thought of the day: Wow, its been a long time since I've been here and I'm not even sure if I'm committed to start blogging again but I feel the urge to just write and put my thoughts somewhere other than my notepad/wallet.

Life's changed drastically since my last post. From a new job to a new place I'm happy to take on all challenges and go with the wind. I'm not gonna drop a lengthy catch up post or write something super eloquent. Instead for now I'll just start my blogging comeback with.....

"SHHHMMMAAAAAAAAAA!!!"

 Food for thought:
Fried Nutella banana hand pies

"I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness for it shows me the stars."

-Og Mandino (1923 - 1996)

Thought of the day: So I'm dancing again. For a small performance. I suck all over again. But it is fun.

Food for thought:
Chicken and queso fresco stuffed red peppers with roasted poblano and tomatillo sauce.

"He who would leap high must take a long run."

-Danish Proverb

Thought of the day: School is tiring as hell right now. While I'm doing all I can I never feel like it's enough or my best at the moment. The kids are happy, the class is clean, the parents are stoked, and I'm pooped by 4pm Monday through Friday and sometimes through the weekend.

Food for thought:
Blue cheese biscuit sandwich with bacon, egg, oven-roasted tomatoes, caramelized onions, and garlickly greens

Alvinisms 1371

"When there's snow on the ground, I like to pretend I'm walking on clouds."

-Takayuki Ikkaku, Arisa Hosaka and Toshihiro Kawabata

Thought of the day: Sometimes I forget that I lived a whole different life when I was in college. To go back and still be welcome with wide open arms to a team I devoted 5 years to is a great feeling. The friends I spent my college years with are still the same friends, yeah with kids or spouses but just as fun and awesome. What really surprises me is how the future generations of dancers still recognize and respect their dance predecessors. It's good to know the history of the team was not lost and the trials and tribulations we went through. Well done Team Millennia, 143.

Food for thought:
Crisyp beer battered fish and tartar sauce loaded potato skins. Never thought of this but it sounds pretty good.
